On Friday, August 28, 2026, United For Democracy joins the National Action Network, the Drum Major Institute, and a coalition of more than eighty organizations at the Lincoln Memorial for the March on Washington 2026: Defend the Vote. We gather on the 63rd anniversary of the original march and of Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech. Thank you for standing with us on August 28.
United For Democracy is a coalition committed to protecting the freedom to vote and holding our democratic institutions accountable to the people they serve. We organize, educate, and mobilize so that every eligible voter can cast a ballot and have it counted.
The right to vote is the right that protects every other right. As long standing protections face challenge and rollback, showing up in numbers at the Lincoln Memorial is one of the clearest ways to make that case. Marching alongside this coalition is a natural extension of the work we do every day.
